Pieterson should never be welcomed in ANY dressing room ever again.

Tell him he's back in the team for The Ashes if he does 5 things:
1) Issue a full public apology to Andrew Strauss, the team, the ECB, Andy Flower and the fans.
2) Go on the England Lions tour in the winter
3) Does not play any part in the IPL
4) Scores around 1,000 runs in county cricket by the end of May next season
5) Accepts that one more disciplinary issue and he'll never play for this country again
I hope we tell him to fuck off, I never want to see him in an England shirt again.
TBH, as a more general point, I'm getting sick of these contrived residency qualified players. I don't want to sound all Alf Garnett but I'd love to go back to a proper English 11.

This. Embarrassing having Dernbach, Trott and Morgan win us the game yesterday (plus Kieswetter).
Get 11 English lads playing and if we lose so be it.
Aberdeen Angus said:Its ironic that these lads decided on England due to the SA quota system making it difficult for them to play for their country and now there are English lads finding it difficult to get in due to our selection policy allowing South Africans to play for us.
If it was a couple of isolated cases or theyd been here long enough to actually speak with an English accent then fair enough but it is becoming silly now.
The ECB need to have a think about it because talented young Englishmen could become very disillusioned.

Why just father's? And what if you are born in one country to parents of that nationality, but move to England when very young? If we'd stopped that then Peter Bonetti would never have been able to play in that World Cup game...I'll go along with this.
Whether it's cricket or any other sport you should be eligible for a maximum of two countries:-
1. Your place of birth
2. The counrty that is your father's nationality.
All this residency qualification crap is just that.

Whilst I admire the ECBs stance, this could be the end of KP. Shame really.
