I live in shared accommodation and therefore am not in charge of the WIFI so can't call the provider which I imagine is the problem. Just had a text from the guy who is in charge who says he's called the provider who say there is no problem. I can see the network on both my phone (saved/secured but not connected) and laptop (can't connect) but can't connect to the network on either device. Tried forgetting the network on the phone and reconnecting, still no joy. Normally if the internet is down the connection is still/can still be active. Any idea on possibly why I can't connect to the network and thoughts on the problem/potential solution? Edit - can't check the connection by Ethernet as the router is out of the way and I don't have a cable.
