Model railway enthusiasts

Is there any on here?

I'm in the middle of inheriting a load of 00 guage stuff (talking thousands). Gonna try and build a small guage replica of Sunderland's railways in its heyday.
Funny you should say that, I'm building a 00 gauge one with the kids, but I've added a sound control board and lighting system. On the sound board you click on the stadium button and it lights up, then it plays 10 different crown noises, one of them is Shearer is a wanker, the kids don't understand it, which is June at as well. I'll Hoy some people pic's up later

aye...there are
You’ll need a bloody big board. I modeled South Hylton and even a shortened version took a 12’ board. Have a look at Railway Modeller or British Railway Modelling magazines, there are some great ideas for layouts.
never took you to be into model railways....used to live in SH too.

I bought a load of hornby gear off eBay a few years ago, took me a year to collect what I wanted. I still haven't built it into a set, I lost interest before I'd started. It's in the loft now and will likely stay there until I retire. Or more likely stay there until I die after which the kids will have it all back on eBay.
Anybody interested in model railways keep an eye out for the displays that are held at Shildon Locomotion train museum. Its free in with a lot of layouts and stalls selling models and sets. There are some full size trains in there as well

Get it built by Saturday. Pompey - Colden Common branch line express so I can save 60 minutes valuable drinking time pissing about in Eastleigh.

Just a few pictures from the one I build the lad.
Lots of glue and patience and amazing when you put your mind to it.
Aye, the one "I built for the lad" ;) A lot of effort gone into that
