They are always empty, so why were people allowed to sit in them yesterday and in the front row as well. People in positions of authority on the ground safety side were negligent yesterday.
Why are the bars up there selling any bottles and why arent people searched going in.
I have been searched at wimbledon, portsmouth accrington and Blackpool so are the away fans getting searched at Sunderland??

Drop an email to the club citing the report you made to the police at the time.

If the club are to do anything about this the more reports they get the better.

When I say reported

I shouted at the polis to get a grip of things

Then me fatha telt me to calm down in case I got nicked

although at the match yesterday I never saw what was going on. I can see a team to be set up to investigate what went on by using the cctv.
Looks like it's going to happen after reading the club statement on a new thread.

They were clueless yesterday mate. Talking to a lad in The Cambridge who’d left early as a bottle had just missed his daughter. Don’t tend to get riled up as much now with me knocking on like but I was f***ing foaming yesterday mate, they were f***ing vermin.

It’s the worst cowardly behaviour ever mate

If thats true, something is seriously amis and it needs rectifying very quickly.
It's to do with the ownership of the land around the ground. Policing on public ally owned land is paid for from the police budget. On private land, it's charged to the landowner. All the land round St James's is public. All the land round the SoL is owned by SAFC. So they only pay for coppers in the ground itself, and we have to pay for any of them setting foot in the car park and turnstile areas.

At least there's a statement, and I agree that people should report, but realistically most of us saw bugger all from down there other than a stream of missiles at various stages of proceedings. I'd respectfully suggest that the best eye witnesses (supported by the cctv which they must surely have been using during the game) ought to be the police and stewards who were in the top tier. Only problem is a couple of the ones we could see at the very front of the away section (potentially best placed to see trouble) seemed too busy having a bit of banter with the away fans and looking utterly gormless when getting suggestions like should they not be doing their job.
Hopefully the club have plenty images from the CCTV.

Coventry scum should be told to come forward and own up or the CCTV images could and should be made public at the earliest opportunity.

£300k a year I believe. Enough to be expecting a better service than we received yesterday when women and kids were injured by Coventry scum with little in the way of addressing the issue.

That’s not a great deal of money; just over 6k a match when you only consider league games. Divide that among the coppers and spread that out over a four hour day.
