Missiles being hoyed all game from North Stand Upper

I mentioned it to who I'm assuming is the gaffer steward. Wears orange jacket always hanging around the centre tunnel behind goal North stand.. He seemed genuinely lost for words at the situation. Ought to be ashamed of his staff up there.
 

My season card is for the Black Cats Bar so I sit at very back row in north stand. The amount of shit getting flung down was unbelievable and stewards couldn't have give less of a fuck. Loads of fans getting very angry and lots moved up into the BCB seats just to get away from missiles been hurled down. No the wonder the North Stand is empty these days, nobody in their right mind would want to sit below away fans. You'd think the club will see sense and move away fans but with us already selling season cards for all lower tier next season then it's looking doubtful.

Report that to the club, please.

The club needs to know how ineffectual the stewards and police were and they aren't going to hear that from anyone but the fans who were there.

There's only so much the stewards can and should be asked to do the police stood at the bottom of the North Stand were the ones who should have intervened but did not

At least there's a statement, and I agree that people should report, but realistically most of us saw bugger all from down there other than a stream of missiles at various stages of proceedings. I'd respectfully suggest that the best eye witnesses (supported by the cctv which they must surely have been using during the game) ought to be the police and stewards who were in the top tier. Only problem is a couple of the ones we could see at the very front of the away section (potentially best placed to see trouble) seemed too busy having a bit of banter with the away fans and looking utterly gormless when getting suggestions like should they not be doing their job.

I witnessed the same thing happen, I couldn't f***ing believe it when the copper threatened to arrest him.
