Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

I just don’t get it mate. He’s looked really positive when he’s come on and that’s exactly what we were needing from the middle tonight.
The amount of balls we put into the box with no-one making the run behind Isidor was ridiculous.
Everyone around us was saying the same thing and have been for weeks. At least Aleksic gets into positions to score...has a burst of pace....great close control...can beat a man. Rigg just isn't cutting it or bringing anything to the table past couple of months. Aleksic must be scratching his head.
Starting to think there's a Dariusz Kubicki thing going on, like if he plays more than 200 minutes this season it costs us £2m or something.
It's weird, we paid £3.5 mill aswel I think it was for him. Which, isn't to be sniffed at for us.

Both Rigg and Jobe were making those runs until recently mate but Jobe, in particular (looks knackered) has stopped doing it.

Only player I’d have brought him in instead of was Rigg, who ended up playing well

He can’t play Jobe or Neil’s position.

He’s just having this season to be bedded in same as loads of others in the past, we say this every week, then he doesn’t play and someone says he’s upset or got no future or what not

It's clear that players are told that they can't run beyond their man. There's no fluidity in midfield and any running with the ball is expected to come from wide, which makes us predictable and very static in the middle of the park.

We've seen Jobe get beyond his man at times last season, so it's clearly an instruction not to take risks. Problem is, winning games and especially league titles/promotions all come with a big element of risk attached, which is why we'll fall short with a HC who is clearly more cautious in his approach.

The we’re getting ahead of the ball earlier in the season though mate and in this part of the season where we are in a starter state of flux til May should be the opportunity to let others express themselves.

Jones done it first half on Saturday, first 20 minutes. Rigg hasn't done anything of note for months imo. Offering nothing. Season has caught up with him.
Similar to Jobe last year, maybe not as drastic. Which hopefully means we can expect a pure beast next season in the unlikely event he's still here.

We were very fast and fluid with our passing and general movement, but that's gone now. We don't move the ball until the opposition are back in their positions, and then the predictable side to side shite starts.
