Milan Aleksic - Confirmed

Unless you're joking, c and ć in serbian are different letters (one has an accent on top of it. There's also č which is a 3rd letter that looks similar but isn't same) and are pronounced differently.

Not sure what this means exactly(I'm guessing some inside joke), but I'm a regular contributor on another club's forum and have also written previews for new signings and/or opponents in european competitions of English clubs that were from Serbia.
Is he going to be signing today then? Clocks ticking.

I thought ć and č were pronounced pretty much the same I’ll be honest.

No idea. When the new broke, Serbian media outlet that broke it were adamant that the deal is happening. I still think(and hope) it happens.

This is complete guesswork, but they might be waiting for the work permit to go through or some other technical detail like that.

The way Serbian names are usually pronounced in the UK and USA, it sounds more like č, while our surnames are almost exclusively ending with ć. Č sound is the sound at the end of a lot of Russian or Slovenian names for example 😁

Both of those letters sounds identical in Makem so don’t worry about it.

The media outlet that broke the Aleksić news announced 40 minutes ago that all papers were signed an hour ago (i.e. an hour and 40 minutes ago now). Wonder what's the hold-up then?

I think the club are waiting to do some “you thought we were done” type announcement for Mepham, Aleksic and another midfielder.
