Milan Aleksic - Confirmed


We have started well, but other teams are strengthening...
We have lost our best player this transfer window and don't seem to be willing to reinvest the money in the team.

I think in terms of sustainability it's reasonable, but if we get a few key injuries and performances suffer, this will look like another missed opportunity (like last season).
Of course if we don't and we piss the league Speakman will look like a genius.

Hi everyone, just joinded the forum. I plan on writing a short preview on Aleksic tomorrow and answer any question you may have (of course if the deal gets over the line). Would have written it earlier, but I've been quite busy and I'm still busy today.

For now, I'd say that for those who are interested in proper pronounciation of Milan Aleksić's name, you should go to Google Translate and select Serbian language and then type in his name and press that speaker button. The pronounciation is very good actually (but make sure to type in "Milan Aleksić" with "ć" at the end and not "Milan Aleksic".

Cheers everyone, hopefuly this deal will be completed and I'll be watching your games as much as I can then.

Just to be clear, I type in "Milan Aleksić" with "ć" at the end and not "Milan Aleksic" with what also appears to be a "c" at the end?

Unless you're joking, c and ć in serbian are different letters (one has an accent on top of it. There's also č which is a 3rd letter that looks similar but isn't same) and are pronounced differently.

Not sure what this means exactly(I'm guessing some inside joke), but I'm a regular contributor on another club's forum and have also written previews for new signings and/or opponents in european competitions of English clubs that were from Serbia.
