I think people assume that because they know no other languages, that an 18 year old Serb wouldn’t know English. It’s widely taught and understood around Europe. That's bullshit. I've posted a few times...my brother had some crack on with Aleksic outside The Hilton after the Oxford game....he could hold a conversation no problem.
So is french and Spanish but I can’t speak or understand eitherI think people assume that because they know no other languages, that an 18 year old Serb wouldn’t know English. It’s widely taught and understood around Europe.
Spot onHe’s also from the northeast can speak English knows all the players can understand the mananger and his team mates and will already be mates with half the team
You appear quite aggressive if I may say so. Did you not get what you wanted from Santa this year.It wasn’t his first year in a foreign country from a shit league and complete strange surroundings we also play the same style of football at every level at the club … let that sink in
I didn't click on he was only 18 mind. Not that I've said owt bad about him but puts it in perspective a bitI think people assume that because they know no other languages, that an 18 year old Serb wouldn’t know English. It’s widely taught and understood around Europe.
Not aggressive at all mate just sick of hearing the same stuff over and over , we clearly have a process and for once are in a position where we don’t need to just toss new young lads in the deep endYou appear quite aggressive if I may say so. Did you not get what you wanted from Santa this year.
I reckon a few lads got Aleksic on their topsYou appear quite aggressive if I may say so. Did you not get what you wanted from Santa this year.
By the deep end are you referí g to the first team or the u21s as I personally don’t think Aleksic playing in the u21s at this minute is the deep end. If anything I think it is better than sitting on the bench watching football. For some reason he is the only young player we have signed from overseas where we have did this therefore some fans are questioning the reasoning behind this strategy of signing a young player to sit on a bench. Not aggressive at all mate just sick of hearing the same stuff over and over , we clearly have a process and for once are in a position where we don’t need to just toss new young lads in the deep end
I think my comments on Aleksic were fair. I mean some fans think the actual strategy and procession planning is what is up for debate when all I’ve said is that I find it strange why the lad Aleksic has been signed and just sat watching football from the bench when it would be more beneficial to integrate him in via the u21s if he isn’t ready yet. Seems fair enough to me.I reckon a few lads got Aleksic on their tops
You had one job mate. Exactly. Not aggressive at all mate just sick of hearing the same stuff over and over , we clearly have a process and for once are in a position where we don’t need to just toss new young lads in the deep end
Yes but we are an ignorant bunch because we have an expectation that every non-English speaker will be able to understand us.So is french and Spanish but I can’t speak or understand either
To be honest him being on the bench isn’t a bad thing, but for me I just find it odd how he isn’t playing at any level at the club. Other young players have been brought in over the last few seasons and have went into the u21s.You had one job mate. Reply with “after the amount I drank on Boxing Day…”
It’s odd he’s been on the bench quite so much yet not used like.
Plus the fact it was widely reported that he couldn't speak English, and he never spoke at that "meet the new signings" night.Yes but we are an ignorant bunch because we have an expectation that every non-English speaker will be able to understand us.
Definitely odd that like. Most of the time if a lad is on the bench he’s at least been in the U21s.To be honest him being on the bench isn’t a bad thing, but for me I just find it odd how he isn’t playing at any level at the club.
