Having just made a 70 million profit on a club he ran into the ground he probably thinks it’s easy to make money in football , buy Derby cheap now when they are on the brink of going bust , minimal spending on players etc but keep them ticking along and sell them for a profit in a few years will be his idea.
Ran into the ground, f off man. He saved Newcastle.
You shouldn’t care anyway, being a staunch Sunderland like you claimed in the past

They can't still be peddling the 'ran us into the ground' shite when their strong financial position along with his low selling price is literally the only reason the terrorists looked twice at them?

He didn’t run NUFC into the ground, don’t he so ignorant. He ran them, erm, like a business.

How come your lot never say a f***ing word about the £160m plus the Hall and Shepherd families took out when they left, plus the shit they directed towards your city, it’s women and your supporters for paying over the odds for cheap tatt strips?

Set of idiots.

I don't understand the price of the club. The current preferred bidder is reportedly paying £30m.

How can it be worth £30m when the club is about to be relegated to L1, on brink of being liquidated and generally completely broken.

And now Mike offering £50m. Seems bonkers to me

Whilst he didn’t run them into the ground, I doubt we would think he had done a great job if he was in charge of us

Remember, he appointed the likes of Kinnear and Pardew, plastered the ground with his company name and spent relatively little

He left them on a sound financial footing of course, but we are liars if we wouldn’t have been pissed off with some of the things he did
