Trust George Dobell over Colin Graves
He certainly had questions RE his involvement in our punishment
This letter/article from him last year was good.

I will never move on from it like
FTECB - "Durham's just got promoted this morning....quick quick get the Middlesex news out ASAP and they might not notice!"You must be logged on to see external links
I recall having conversations with supporters of Worcs, Leics and Derbyshire down at the Riverside and the common theme was that none of them could understand how Durham simply accepted their draconian punishment. What I’ve never really understood is why the club accepted this. There was no appeal. It’s all well and good Bostock saying the ECB have effectively made good, but afaik, we as members/ supporters have never had this explained.
Some might argue that we should get over ourselves and move on, but personally I find that difficult. The injustice we suffered was appalling.
i thought the same tbhI always believed there was chance that the ECB would stop the bailout of the club if the club had appealed against the punishment. Essentially had us over a barrel and we could do nothing about it

almost feels like a slap in the in face when you hear Bostock say we dont want test cricket, feels like a lets not rock the boat and upset the ECB, do any supporters not want test cricket back at Durham. I thought grounds no longer had to bid for games?? youd think we'd want the money
yeah true, weve not a brilliant record of blockbuster fixturesHis point has been that if Durham are given a test, it will be against less attractive opposition at the beginning or end of the season, so it will be more difficult to sell out. They therefore prefer ODIs and T20s which will (certainly the men’s games), the aim being to get 2 a season.
So it’s more a case of careful business planning (his argument, not mine btw).

Failed to pay them for hosting the test match.yeah true, weve not a brilliant record of blockbuster fixtures
3 day Test v Nepal in November would be my guess. His point has been that if Durham are given a test, it will be against less attractive opposition at the beginning or end of the season, so it will be more difficult to sell out.
