Trains showing in timetable for the weekend e.g. Realtime Trains | 2N22 1157 Hexham to Middlesbrough

never occurred to me i could park up at Hexham and get the train to the match

Shite. Just bought tickets for Doncaster. In the lakes for Easter week and was going to take the kids over by train from Carlisle. No trains or Metro between Newcastle and Sunderland. I'll have to drive over now, Then drive back to Dorset the next day.

We asked the metro staff at Central last night on the way to the match...Bus replacement number 900/901 from Grainger Street to B/Whins..then metro to Sunderland..and reverse service for return..Buses run every 10 minutes,accotding to the lad we spoke to...So thats our plan for Saturday...

Have you used this marra? Normally get the metro but saw this route earlier and thought about giving it a go

Will the actual proper train service be off as well? I usually get the metro from Fellgate but would of walked to east boldon station.

According to Northern Rail there's no disruption so the normal train will run its usual hourly service between Newcastle to Sunderland direct stopping at Heworth.

There'll be a full service from East Boldon
