Absolutely shit news, I liked the fella. As much as I’m gutted I’ll not see them live again I’m grateful I had the chance to see them.

Gutted to hear he's passed, really hoped he'd pull through. Saw them a fair few times over the years, always great to watch. Will always remember Charlton away win about 1980 when we won 4-0 and he led the lads through the streets afterwards when it looked like kicking off. Gary Bushell even give it a mention in the following weeks Sounds/NME music paper.

Sad news, Knew he wasn't well at all, but was still hoping he might pull through. On his day as a live artist, he was like a force of nature. Seen the Upstarts numerous times, where he literally had the entire crowd in the palms of his hands. A true punk legend if ever there was one.
