I think the vote was to rule out two choices and to be left with two. Sickening. His explanation of basically talking about changes with members he has encountered randomly was utter shit. There was some sort of bizarre comparison made with the situation at Yorkshire where they have 10000+ members and only 600 or 800 voted. That's typical of elections and you abide by the majority of those who care enough to vote. He said in essence that it becomes too complicated when people want their say and 'nothing gets done'. This is they same as D-day apparently because you get shot if you stand still. You can walk into fire too Bostik.

Having spent 30+ in local government, I've seen dozens like Bostock. Big mouthed, cliche spouting, morons who are out of their depth and try to cover it up with shit like tonight. It taken them four years of talking he said to get this far!

Bostock 'having to leave' demonstrates his personal contempt for Members, his unaccountibility and the ineffectiveness of Collins.

The inexerable march of the 16.4 is simply going to be ruinous for longer form cricket.

I came away furious.

Phil Collins arse dropped about the members being consulted so Bostock took over and just blabbered on. Said they've walked about speaking to members... Utter rubbish and someone asked for a show of hands and nobody raised there hands to which Bostock said "we have 3000 members". Utter bullshit. Bostock now has to leave, basically can't even make time for members. Honestly this club is unrecognisable. Absolutely shocking how they are running this club and they have absolutely no respect for members. Some comparison to the D D landings made by Bostock. Unbelievable

Yeah he was furious. The question initially started with Collins and Bostock immediately took over because the audience applauded the question. Bostock implied he has spoken to members (seemed to suggest around the ground). I haven't seen him walking around the ground speaking to members, times I've been in the members lounge I haven't seen him. He's basically lied about it and when the audience member asked for a show of hands, not one member raised their hand, to which Bostock said "we have 3000 members" basically arse dropped and he was rattled. Ultimately the club have lied and they have handled this absolutely appallingly yet again. The D-Day comment is as just unbelievable. I worry about Durham with these in charge, no respect for members at all
