Ashley Thorp would deflect them anyway but hopefully @The Red Telephone or some other attendee will post a report on here of the proceedings. The question is ....who is gonna ask the tough questions if GMNo1Fan and Dan..Dan arnt going ?
I did think that. They said the 3 that were leaving were Killeen to Essex, Coughlin to Lancs and McAlindon has been released. No word on Bas"No more departures ahead of next year"- so presumably DeLeede will still be with us.
Just that overall performance on and off the field was poor. No mention of individual coaches like Onions or the batting coach from what I heard.Points 2 and 3 - Bostock is deluded
Point 6 - If Lees is captain next season, we might as well not bother.
Was there any discussion about the 'performance' of individual coaches, coaching departments?
I simply don't get that if Bostock thinks this squad is the best for a generation, or whatever shite he spouts, then surely they have underperformed and someone should be accountable.very telling nobody is wanting to take responsibility for the shit show.
Thanks for the additional info.Few adds on to @danthemanSAFC 's excellent summary-
1 Campbell said after getting promotion in his first year he deserved a 10 year contract (about a third of the audience applauded)
2 Bostock said we can't pay the wages that the likes of Surrey do - he said that we'd been in for Fisher of Yorks last year. He also said that if there was a football style transfer system then every Durham player would be good enough to be snapped up by Div 1 teams. 95% of our players are contracted for s further two seasons.
3 A question about priotising County Cricket gave Bostock the chance to vent his spleen. He said he was very disappointed that the new proposals had not gone through. He reckons there will be more attempts in the next two years to change it and it was difficult to get past the 2/3 majority needed. Said the counties who voted against it were living in cloud cuckoo land and there would be no chance of attracting top overseas players to play red ball as they would all be playing franchise cricket. He bitterly predicted that unless counties accepted his proposals then in 5- 7 years the Championship would be no better than the Minor Counties Championship.
4 On the way home Mrs RT ( who will admit she's not exactly a cricket expert and only really goes for the Trapdoor Titans craic ) said - " They were just like politicians waffling on but saying nothing!"
The lad on the door said it was a 120 capacity ( the Castle View isn't the biggest of rooms) but there were some empty seats. Was it packed to the rafters ?

Campbell said that he would love to be fielding a first XI of all NE players and this wasn't possible but repeated that if you are a local lad in the Acad and are good enough then you will get your chance.

North admitted that he could accept that a lot of members for the first time may not feel proud of DCCC after watching some of the performances in 2025.
Hotel - Bostock said on Dec 3 he is at a meeting with the Full Planning Committee and then only problem had been the flood risk assessment. He said the go ahead should be imminent but admitted he'd been saying that for last 2 years.
Bostock was asked about the franchise money and said DCCC would be receiving £24.6 million. They would pay off outstanding debts to ECB and County Council leaving us £20m. It was at this time that Mrs RT said something and I missed the jist of what was said but think money would be invested in a fund by ECB (hmmm) but interest would be paid to counties. Part of money could be accessed but specific purposes not like signing Kohli etc etc.
Had to leave at 7.20 but imagine there wasn't many more questions from the floor.

At the very least once he said.Win the County Championship within 5 years
Someone please feel free to bump this and take the piss in 5 years should this happen.
I think hes already left"No more departures ahead of next year"- so presumably DeLeede will still be with us.
Campbell named those who have departed ie Killeen ,Coughlin then seemed to struggle to recall Stanley Mac. De Leede wasn't mentioned but that's not saying he hasn't gone.I think hes already left
