loan or sale, he doesn't have the ability currently to get meaningful time. We need to continue to be ambitious and that should include leaving players like Mayenda off the team sheet

Excellent performances like Man City followed by months of inactivity so hard to gauge were he’s at, he will surely want to play more and so a suitable offer for both parties might make it inevitable he leaves
 
Absolutely crazy that we've gotten to a point where we're considering letting him go.

But realistically if we want to progress we need to be looking at players that could slot into the best sides in the world.

I don't think he's quite that.

I hope that if he does go it's on good terms and we get a chance to thank him properly.
 
I would like to think it's just a loan. I'd definitely be including a good buy back clause if we do sell him. He's should have played more this season.

We never have since the days Speakman was in charge
I think with Xhaka we had a clue prior due to Ten Hag being in a strop about losing him
Usually the first we know is when Romano gives it a here we go
Another close season of the usual suspects bemoaning we haven’t done all our business by Midnight 2 July
