Mayenda discussion thread

Even as is though, he's such an impactful outlet for us. He's very strong - especially once he gets motoring with the ball - and he's fast and can go past people. He's also got a bit more vision than he gets credit for, he's often one of our best players at sliding Isidor through.

He's a massive threat when running with the ball like, he just shrugs defenders off and people end up backing off him.
You know your stuff. Just described today's goal a whole day earlier. Have a like.

Hjelda really isn’t as bad as people make out mind.

He’ll cost is now fs..
I used to get fear instilled in me everytime he went near the ball, but recently he has done alright when called upon. Hopefully he keeps it up as the behind the scenes videos seem to give the impression he is very popular in the squad and a good character to have around

Needs to be the first name on the team sheet in the play offs. Makes something happen everytime he plays and frightens the life out of defences. If Isidor starts then needs be straight in on the left for Watson, presuming Mundle isn’t fit.

That goal gets better the more I watch. He is ahead of Isidor for me so don't wanna see him out wide. Put Isidor out wide. How can Mayenda be lazy if they trust he will play out there and put a shift in. They don't trust Isidor to make a tackle.
Tbh playing one isolated forward, especially at home, has cost us automatic promotion.

Playing Mayenda and Isador upfront together, a combination of pace and physicality is a no brainer for me.

If Le Bris cannot see that or is too stubborn to change it then he needs to go.

I'll be gutted when we sell him for £80m-£200m, tongue in cheek but it wouldn't shock me. 19 years old and the improvement in 12 months is incredible. Mentally and physically strong. He learns and improves. Unplayable at times. Once his finishing improves also which it will and as he gets in these positions to score which is a skill itself he's going to be a special player.

Mayenda 1st choice on team sheet thou would like to see who we are up against in playoffs to make that final decision

Every time we've played 4-4-2 we've been overrun in midfield.

I'd imagine the cross section of people who want to vote Reform and don't rate Mayenda has a great deal of overlap.

Has the double wammy of racist and moron
So if someone decides they don't rate a particular back player they're racist? That is absolutely ridiculous. They would have to be blind to think that, but not racist.
