Dinnit man! I’m trying to curb the drink for a few weeks

I am out tomorrow night at a charity thing at the Beacon like. Think it was Brown Ale last year, which is slightly disappointing. Better than drinking lager though.

Nah. It’s Ramside catering that comes in & does the bar for the event, so it’s like a pop up. From memory there was no Guinness. Think I had the option of Smiths or Brown Ale.

I could murder a DM after watching that. I'm glad you shared it close to the weekend & not on a Monday night as I try to be good during the week.

Maxim is £1.50 a 500ml bottle. Porter is £22 for 12 so £1.80 ish

Decent prices them. If I'm stuck in the house, with not much money to go out, I will often make do with 3 bottles of Double Maxim from the Co op for £6, nothing special but a decent enough drink

They must’ve changed their offer recently. Thinks couple of others, Asda & Sainsburys, might do the 4 for 3 at the minute.
