Max Power

Actually that’s a good point. Most of the players talked snots far are all set up for life already. This is a late career payday for Power, who could blame him
This.

Bog standard lower league player who's hit the pension jackpot. He might earn the same in a couple of seasons that he's earned in his whole career.

Great name and always tried hard.

If he has had a career on average £10k a month he will be a millionaire.
I can tell you now that he won’t be a millionaire. Even if he invested wisely which most footballers don’t do. Wealthy, but not a millionaire.

I doubt he was on an average of 10k/week over his career and after tax and expenses he’s probably well off but not absolutely minted so good for the lad to get a big pay day. I would do the same in his position if the opportunity came up.

But he has only 4 years left in his career where as most people at 30 are really only starting a career.

£10k a month is about £2.5k per week. He'd have a mortgage and bills to pay so I doubt he's a millionaire.

My friend you clear are not old enough to have paid your own mortgage, supported kids through life and built a pension to last 20-30 years.
Let’s say the average wage is £25k per year and everyone works for 45 years. In your book that makes everyone a millionaire?

Wouldnt know. not on £25k.

I seem to remember an interview he did just after he signed for us..said his dream was to end his career playing for Al-Qadsiah FC in the Saudi second tier. Good luck to the lad, always tried his best for us.
