Martin Gray @ Bishop Auckland

Gotta share this bizarre meeting i had with him.

bumped into him at the home game against Villa. Recognised him straight away so said hello. I always get a buzz out of seeing ex players & whether that was written all over my face or whether I look like someone he knows I'm not sure but his reaction was that of someone who knows you but can't remember your name. "He was like how you doing? How's the family?" i was like "yeah good, hope you & yours are well." Then he said "yeah good, anyway good to see you again" & we parted ways.
My dad saw the whole thing & said "who was that?" When I explained it was Martin Gray who used to play for us he remembered him & confessed he wouldn't have recognised him. "How the hell do you know him though?" asked my dad. A valid question seeing as we're exiles. "I don't" i said. "Well he definitely thinks he knows you" said dad.

Sorry probably not the most exciting of interactions to share with you all but it made my dad & i smile nonetheless & was a fun story to tell me mam when we got back.
 

Lost 1-0, back in the relegation spots after Ossett won 3-0 at Consett, looking in deep peril now.
Straight two hoss race now, Bishop at home to Blyth Spartans next Saturday, Ossett at home to Bradford PA.
Bishop must win and hope Ossett don't.

The Ossett-Bishop game back in February could be crucial. Bishop were 1-0 up going into added time... Ossett were down to 9 men. Bishop still couldn't hang on. Bordering criminal to even give them even a sniff of possession, let alone an attempt on goal in that scenario.

Silsden could still get dragged into it but it wasn’t ideal them getting a point yesterday. Bishop can only catch them on GD but needs a 5 goal swing so say a 3-0 loss for them and 2-0 win could do it. Clutching at straws but it’s not a ridiculous scenario.

after losing to bishop and Ossett at home, Consett will more than likely get beat by silsden

I've got Bishop highlights on YouTube, but I'd like to have a bit more knowledge about what's going on at that level.

The npl show, but the couple I have listened to are more one off interviews with people. One with the Morpeth manager who came out of our academy. Just look on Spotify , bound to be some others
