Crazy that this is having to happen so they can register players.
If they prioritised registering messi, could they not have clubbed together as a squad to take the reduction required? If pique can take a cut on his own which registers two players (they wont be on peanuts), surely the like of busquets, ter stegen, griezmann etc could have found the money for messi...he was taking a 50% cut as well
The players would effectively be clubbing together to pay Messi out of their own pocket. So the lower paid (relative) players would be having a whip round for the highest earner. It stinks
