He could certainly afford us and whatever would be needed to get us competitive.

What? All of it?Or he could buy Gateshead.
I put this same thread up last night and it was deleted, due to mag infestation I believe.
we have different opinions on our champions league performances. Awful to me would be the whipping boys.

Not at board level, the current lot bought his shares off him.Does he still have links with rangers?
we made it through group stage in 2002
don’t let facts get in the way of his theory though.
Reported again for trolling, just so you are aware. What's the sun's view of the matter?

Nope. The competition was diluted back then. They failed to get out the group stage both times they entered.
After the second round of groups it was quarter final stage.
They finished 3rd in the first group stage and 3rd in the second group stage of 2001.
They have never reached the knockout stage of the champions League.
Why is anyone banned then? If we kept all the posters who are banned for breaching the terms and conditions, Rog would make more dosh by your logic...Mags and WUMs results in site traffic which results in money for the site owner.
That's why...
the saudis have kless wealth now than at ay time i the past foprty years..the fud has enormous commitments to meet..itb has promised the king it will spend billions in saudi..and needs "every penny it can get" right now..The Saudis have limitless wealth and companies. They will have learned from the mistakes Man City have made and will restructure deals to get money into the mags.
The good thing is the Mags will still have to go up against:
Liverpool - Billionaire Owners and top 5 club in the world
Man Utd - Billionaire Owners and top 5 club in the world
Man City - Billionaire Owners
Chelsea - Billionaire Owners
Spurs - Billionaire Owners
Arsenal - Billionaire Owners
Leicester - Billionaire Owners
Everton - Billionaire Owners
The FA and UEFA will be looking at sponsorship deals even closer now. If Saudi Telecom suddenly put in a £100m a season shirt deal for them it will be investigated. I do hope they rename the stadium as the Al Rajhi Arena (because they are all radgies).
Morning Edward. I trust you and the family are well. With no games or owt I Haven't really been on here much lately, but I dare bet with Ashley selling up there's been a massive invasion of mags and obviously Sima being his normal snidey self.
Am I right?
Remind me when Sunderland did?
