Can’t see it falling through. All seems to be going as smoothly as possible unfortunately. Tough times ahead if we don’t get some serious investment which we seemed to have monumentally just fucked up.

The toughest times. I'd feel sorry for any fanbase (except the Mags ironically) whose arch enemies were took over by Saudis who want to rule the world. I'd much rather they took over Boro or Leeds than the Mags 😂 I think if it does happen it just proves there's certainly no God or if there is he (or Allah) is definitely a Mag.

A slightly better case scenario would be that they are hampered by FFP and they become a solid top 8, 9 side like Everton. The current top six will take years to break and it's not as if the top clubs are all going to stagnate while the Mags catch up. They might not even win any trophies, they might get to plenty of finals but always get beat by someone like City or Liverpool in the final.

All ifs and buts at the moment like. But yeah I am shitting it.

Clutching now like.

Man City are the reason they invested
MLS the Australian league and Girona will not be why they invested.

They've invested closer to a billion than 2 billion.
ma city may be why they invested..but city football group, which also has a club in new york btw...places a value on all of the assetss of the group..so the valuation they paid for included all of it..not just city..thats how business works..its not a market stall where you pay for city ad they throw in giroa for free..the net asset value of the company includes valuations for all of it..he is well over £1.5bn into city football group by now..

We thought that when Mike Ashley bought them mags were going on like they were going to do a Chelsea

Aye and some thought Leicester wouldn’t finish in the top four the season they won the league.

People make mistakes, Bear lad...

Durrt!

Come on man, they bought the other clubs to do just what they have done by buying a share in it themselves over inflated to get round ffp

And the group as a whole is valued at 3.8bn

There is no way on earth Girona the MLS and Australian league clubs make up more than a billion of the group's worth.

So they have effectively doubled their investment which isn't too far away from my throwaway comment they could treble any investment they would make in NUFC.

Despite your patronising comments you are incorrect. Man City are proof they can make a lot of money from NUFC and I say that as someone who despises the mags

Even though it's a different club, Stewart Donald will become instantly unwelcome in Sunderland after our billionaire deal went tips up and now Saudi's own the mags. He has no idea what's coming.

There will be no matches to attend to show any displeasure so not sure he'll be too concerned.

He makes Bob Murray look like Sheikh Mansoor. I've no idea what Short was thinking selling to to an insurance salesman with the money of a lottery winner.

He simply has to sell. Within weeks. I can't f***ing believe we were at the point of 'waiting for the ink to dry' on our multi billion pound deal to 7th in league one, skint and our hated rivals now property of Saudi royalty. Fuck off.
