It has been obvious for weeks it was off. There is no way that the Premier League are going to risk losing sponsors over this.
Also they weren't willing to lose hundreds of millions on a false valuation due to current time.

The Saudis pulled out weeks ago.

Fantastic deal for Ashley if it goes through. When the 300m was agreed, the economy and the footballing world was looking a lot less bleak than it is now. Surprised they wouldn't want to renegotiate or pull out with that in mind. Even if it means losing a deposit. That ties into what @benizz is suggesting above. Not sure on the lads sources. All the media info is very positive that it is going through

Whilst I think Donald is a complete joke you can't really blame him for us no longer eating at the same table as the mags.
We had FPP ready to takeover but Donald's greed stop us from having a real chance of getting back to the PL in the near future and becoming a proper PL club.

Now the gap is wider between the 2 clubs than ever and will only get wider. The Mags at least will be like Spurs. Where as we'd be lucky not to go into administration. We won't be anywhere near the PL for at least 10 years.
