I don't believe I did admit that I know nothing about Bin Salman you might have made that up. I may have said I don't know a great deal about him or something along those lines. For you to openly admit you don’t know anything about Bin Salman suggests you’re oblivious to the wider world outside of Benwell/Byker/Cowgate/Fawdon (delete as applicable).
Morality is an area you’d be well advised to read into. It will serve you well in later life.
Our so called 'moderators' are bigger trolls than the mags on here. They allow them to take the piss. Not a chance that johnaa was calling everyone freaks and saying he off to the world of deluded RTG.
Still here lol mods be loving the traffic
That scrambles their newfound moral compasses. The queen threw him a state dinner.
From a purely objective point of view, gleefully jumping to the defence of Saudi Arabia and seemingly showing a giddy willingness to overlook the reprehensible ethics and practices which are well known to go on in that nation, just because one of their royal family has shown an interest in buying your football club makes you look like a total shitkicker with extreme tunnel vision.Any particular field you feel I need to educate myself more in?
If you feel that Saudi Arabia should be blocked from investing in UK and Western business might I suggest you lobby the UK government who are actively trying to promote and increase business. They are after all your elected representatives and are much better placed to change the world than Newcastle fans.
I have taken the liberty to draft a letter for you, feel free to copy and paste it.
Dear Boris
I don't like the views and practices of Saudi Arabia.
Please stop them from investing in western business, especially Newcastle United as i really don't like them.
I am very very outraged about the whole thing.
Kind Regards
A disgruntled Sunderland fan
Not wanting to split hairs but Arabsat is not trying to purchase Newcastle, The Saudi PIF is. The PIF doesn't own Arabsat the Arab League does
This whole piracy thing is the government of Qatar jousting with the Saudi government and if little relevance to any potential deal.
This deal may well fall through, nobody is more skeptical it will happen than Newcastle fans. From a personal point of view I will believe it when and if it happens but it won't fall through because Qatar doesn't like Saudi Arabia at the moment.

My over all knowledge of Middle Eastern affairs and current affairs in general is probably well above average and I would hazard a guess that before the potential take over of Newcastle the bloke probably wasn't on your radar.
Your knowledge of him i suspect is what you have found while frantically googling him these last couple of weeks.
I don't live in any of the areas you mention but i have to say I find that your assumption that people from poorer areas lack morality say much about your character.
They aren't in it to make money. Staveley will come out of this rich - that's her goal - but the Saudis are in it for different reasons.

The Premier League and its 20 clubs have received a letter from broadcaster beIN Sport urging them to block the sale of Newcastle to a Saudi-backed consortium.
Maybe so. But in this current climate, they could hang on a few months and see who else becomes available. I suspect after Covid is done there will be a lot of clubs whos owners will sell, potentially at a rock bottom price.
I also dont buy that they arent in it to make money. I thought it was an "Investment fund". Which surely will want a return... but im no expert.
Be interesting to see what happens with this one, if it was Man United, Liverpool or any of the other biggest clubs it almost certainly wouldn't be blocked or have all this negative publicity , however with it being Newcastle and people not liking the idea of them being the richest club in the world and being able to compete financially with the rest it may well be blocked.

If it is blocked then in fairness they should force the sale of sheff utd. Same people.
I didnt even know Sheff United has Saudi owners until people started mentioning it in correlation with Newcastle , shows how little publicity it must have gained when the Saudis took them over.
That's just not true. There's no vendetta against NUFC becoming rich in the slightest.
It's not the same at all though, is it?If it is blocked then in fairness they should force the sale of sheff utd. Same people.
