Manager Rating Grid

In terms of ex-managers the only ones who I'd say that I hold in any sort of fondness are Reid, Keane, Poyet and Mowbray.

Only ones who I hold any sort of lingering dislike for are Moyes and Di Canio.

I'd say Allardyce (although I'm not his biggest fan) should probably be pushed up to fans loved, cos they did. And Ready was generally an average manager over his career. And Keane, whilst done well with us, was generally a poor manager.

I've adjusted mine in the quote cos I've no idea how to do the table myself.
Your list is spot on

Just can just copy and paste someone else table, can copy and paste from other websites too. But there's also an insert table icon.

Your table copied and pasted below.

Seen this doing the rounds on Twitter amongst some other clubs and have to admit I struggled with a couple when thinking of the lads

Is my interpretation perfect or can anyone better it:

Rules:
1. No caretaker managers
2. Manager column is consensus in wider footballing landscape rather than how he did with us (e.g. Moyes was an abomination at Sunderland, but that doesn't make him a bad manager - West Ham success etc)

Stating everyone loved him is a pretty bold statement, I know of at least one person who knew all along he was/is a charlatan .
If the criteria is that literally every fan has to love them then I’m afraid we may have to leave that square blank. There are even some lunatics who were calling for RLB’s head a couple of months ago.

BSA was one of the most universally popular managers we have had in recent memory.
Where's the fuckin' hate column for Mick Mac ?
I like mic mac, so he can only go in divided 😉

Second line: swam mon and mic mac
Bottom line: wtf?! I would probably go with the op on that one.

If the OP and yourself had suggested that he was very popular with the majority of fans then there wouldn’t have been any question, to use descriptions like universally or everyone would be factually incorrect.

Should I have hyphenated it? Most-universally?

I didn’t mean that he was universally liked, but that he was one of the closest to being universally liked.
