Manager Rating Grid

Poon

Midfield
Seen this doing the rounds on Twitter amongst some other clubs and have to admit I struggled with a couple when thinking of the lads

Is my interpretation perfect or can anyone better it:

Good Manager
Average Manager
Bad Manager
Fans Love
Peter ReidRoy KeaneRicky Sbragia
Fans Divided
Sam AllardyceMick MacJack Ross
Fans Hate
David MoyesSteve BruceBeale

Rules:
1. No caretaker managers
2. Manager column is consensus in wider footballing landscape rather than how he did with us (e.g. Moyes was an abomination at Sunderland, but that doesn't make him a bad manager - West Ham success etc)

Assuming good manager means over their career and not at sunderland. Only explanation for Moyes being in that column!

Edit, just read the rules properly!

Did Allardyce divide the fans? I thought everyone loved him when he was here or is that more about him leaving us? I don't hold that against him, you're always going to take the England job if it's offered to you
One of the categories I struggled with tbh. I was factoring in the bung drama, but I do get that he is probably more liked than disliked

Maybe Martin O'Neill? I know there was a lot of contention around whether we should have sacked him or not and he did well initially but didn't hit the heights he's hit elsewhere.

I'd say Allardyce (although I'm not his biggest fan) should probably be pushed up to fans loved, cos they did. And Ready was generally an average manager over his career. And Keane, whilst done well with us, was generally a poor manager.

I've adjusted mine in the quote cos I've no idea how to do the table myself.

I was never sold to be honest, wrote checks the club couldn't cash.

Stating everyone loved him is a pretty bold statement, I know of at least one person who knew all along he was/is a charlatan .
