If he wanted to stay he'd have signed, could have put numerous clauses in his contract re promotion, non-promotion etc. We offered what his agent asked, he said no.

I don't think we knew 5 months ago he was leaving, reports suggest that Maja himself had hinted he'd be signing. I'm sure possible replacements were lined up but I think it's proving a lot harder than the management team thought it would be to get their top targets in. We need strikers who are either already in the championship or are at the top of league 1, those will be, and are proving to be difficult to attract, I'd say it's not for the want of trying. And yes, before you ask, I'm getting concerned. But spouting constantly about Maja is pointless, he chose not to stay.
