90%...all they needed to do was come in and sign. They were offered what was requested. I’m 100% sure the club wanted it complete before the window opened so they could focus on incomings and didn’t want this to fuck around with the club. The agent apparently wanted to fuck around with the club...not hard to understand at all.
To be 90% close to completing a deal you would have had to meet with maja and the agent before that point surely ??
Do you think our first offer would have been the offer what the agent asked for first time they spoke ?

No...but I think after you agree to a fee requested you would then carry out and sign the deal...if the club were getting zero feedback after accepting the deal and it’s getting close to the transfer window, a deadline doesn’t seem out of bounds, since the club is bigger than a 20 yr old. It has more responsibility than to cater to some agent and a player who probably don’t want to be at SAFC...and are using up valuable time in the transfer window.

Thats where we are different if I’ve scored 5-6 goals and request 6k then the club come in and offer me less and mess about then in the mean time I score another 7-8 goals and the main threat for the team that 6k I wanted has went to 10k
I simply can’t believe that maja agent has simply ignored Stewart Donald if he did I’m pretty sure we would have heard about it on either one of the podcasts or twitter

He’s only spoke about it in January ?? Which to be honest soon as January came we were always in a big fight to keep him

SD said he arranged to meet his agent at a location of his choice. He didn’t even turn up. For me if SD was lying his agent would have said so.
I don’t care at what stage the negotiations were at that’s wrong

I think Stewart Donald has been fantastic for us since he came and is the perfect guy to take this club forward
• Got the place buzzing again
• Very good appointment in Ross
• Got the fans back on side
• Vey good salesman I.e getting big attendances
But surely people can see he’s made a mistake with the young players likes of maja,embleton,Hume,stryjek letting there contracts run this close to been up is a mistake hopefully this is a big learning curve for him

100% agreed, this is all I have been saying all along and have got mountains of stick for it
I really don't know how anyone can disagree with this, its not coincidence that nearly all our young players haven't signed new deals, strikes of trying to be too clever for his own good.

The club is bigger than the manager too, you need to look after the young players, they are the future and can be big assets. How we have let Embleton drag on till the end of january is pretty poor like.

Back in September/October Stewart Donald done a podcast said good offers had been made to all 4 of the young players where in reality it seems like embleton has only just been offered a deal in the last couple weeks
