If that’s the case then yup, if you’d gave me £100 to put on if he was ill or not I’d have certainly whacked it all on it not being true. And the next time a player who wants away can’t play due to a muscle strain I’m sure I’d do the same. Which of the squad have fallen ill like, can’t see it mentioned anywhere?

Agreed. All it would do is leave us without arguably our most important player for the rest of the season and make us a far less desirable place for young players to come.

If he’s here till the end of the season I want him playing at his absolute best, scoring the goals to get us automatic promotion.
