No, read up. Someone implied that him being on a take home pay of £600 per week was good. It’s not, I’m on roughly that and I hardly feel affluent.excuses for him not being happy with his current wage. there are reasons it is what it is at the moment.
I can understand him wanting a pay rise. I also can understand him wanting to test himself at the highest level. If he was still on city’s books and only here on loan this year, then he would probably want a loan in the Championship next year. So I think he should insist on some form of non-promotion-release clause in his contract and sign the deal we offer him. And if he doesn’t sign the deal we offer him, then just like Asoro before him, he is dead to me.
Im not sympathising with him for not signing a deal, I just disagree that he should be grateful for what is now a low salary for a player of his current performance level.
