Don’t be daft, we can get promoted without giving people 10k per week in league 1! It’s be almost unheard of for any club to give a player a contract like that in this league never mind one that’s already struggling with its wage bill.

His agent contacted sky sports, and said he wouldn’t be signing, the bloke from sky sports reported it. That’s what kicked it all off. Because then SD tweeted to say that yesterday Maja had told Jack Ross he was signing, today SD received a call from sky sports, not the agent, sky sports, to say he wouldn’t be signing.
