I would have kept Josh news in-house but once his agent informed Sky &they report it that he doesn't want to sign we have to repsond.He wants to sign it this agent that has said don't!!! Stay behind him and don't get up his back - we will try & change his mind.

To all those saying Donald shouldn't have tweeted anything read his last one. It was the agent that contacted Sky so it was them that put it in the public domain. Donald was just clarifying our position. To those saying our offer was derisory read the tweets. We offered what he wanted. Agent obviously wants a pay day which he won't get if he stays.

He was playing good football & is contracted for another 6 month. You don't have to want to be somewhere long term to play well.

Also sounds like he's actually happy here but he can go elsewhere in summer & then make more money on the open market. That's fine.

Is one side of the story. I’m just not sure there’s a need to go public on all of this. Either the deadline or apparent outcome today. It’s unusual and I doubt appreciated by players or football administrators. Could cause issues for the club
 
Let's face it, he's been off for a while and it sounds like he's letting his agent do what he wants rather than the other way around.

It's daft that a player sounded happy with getting a substantial (7x what he's on now if as reported) pay rise and first team football but is willing to let some twat who only cares about himself look after his future!....he's not the only one mind and the kid must be blinded by the extra pound signs that's being offered to sit on the bench elsewhere.

Least it's sorted out early so we can act on the targets we will have already sounded out in the event of this happening.

Still a daft lad in my opinion.
