Just told my mini meeky poor lads had tears it's broke my heart, explained though players come n go but one thing is always the same us, the fans, the people we are Sunderland we are what make the club

If your right then it's very odd.

It must be wages at the end of the day. I suppose from the clubs point of view these lads are now L1 reserves and want to pay them accordingly; but the lads would consider themselves a bit better than that.
They've come through a top academy for a team that for most of their careers was a PL side and through no fault of theirs is now on it's knees. Add to that, the fact that most of these lads will hopefully be first team players in the next season of so (injuries permitting) and they aren't going to want themselves tying down to long deals on 'low' pay.

That is such a short termist view though, where is the forward thinking?

Some players get paid on potential, if we are offering him the wages of a player his age at Shrewsbury for example, then he is never going to stay is he

He is an England youth international at every age group, that deserves some respect from the owners.

No idea, I was told he is desperate to stay though.

So why he hasn't signed, who knows

They are clearly doing someit wrong, none of them are signing
Maybe our new owners want players who want to play for the club, instead of going down the Short route of throwing money at players who couldn’t give a fuck about the club, the fans or actually playing football.

I thought we offered him more than Charlton in the Summer and he still decided to sign for them.

He's from South East London and signing for Charlton meant he was going 'home'. Let's face it we were a pretty shit prospective employer from an outsiders point of view during the summer. Money talks to both clubs and players.

Aye and clearing your locker out and announcing you won't be back shows loads of respect.

But you said it was from what you understand which suggests you do have an idea.
What are they doing wrong

His family have been saying he is desperate to stay

What do you man what are they doing wrong?

We've had 4 young talents with contracts expiring in the summer, so they are doing someit wrong
