He is entitled to wind down his contract, but there is also no guarentee he would have allowed us to tie down his contract earlier. If he wants to leave then go ahead, but i dont want him hanging around waiting to fuck off at the end of the year. Its not like he has had any prior success, and is currently doing it at l1 level. He now has ideas way above his station and our club

i think if 600 is ytouir take home you are getting less than 1k..1k would put you into the 40pc tax bracket and 40pc of 1k is 600, but there is a tax free allowance of over 10k a year as well, plus NI contributions..so if he was taking him 600 he was on less than 1k..
people said that after the last game he missed..truth is the offers for him from clubs havent been what his agent expected so he is stalling..

He was being paid well enough for his age/level. We've since tried to address that when his form has warranted it, unless you're suggesting we should have paid a kid who looked put of his depth in the championship last season and has only shown real potential this season a premium wage. Just an excuse you're giving for the kid trying to better himself/get more money.

I think the echo said the club will look to offload him to Bordeaux early and try to agree on a fee. Probably try and squeeze a million out of them but he would probably go for less if they wait.
Would rather we flogged him to West Ham or Cardiff now and got our chunk of change.
