Leeds is an interesting one given they're currently showing signs of doing the classic Bielsa mid-season self-destruct. Don't doubt they'd pay him loads more than us though.

Leeds was a pure guess by the poster, plucked out of thin air.

All of whats been posted on here about Majas future has been pure guesswork and pure fantasy.

I recon only Maja, the club and Majas agent will have any idea whats happening.

What has been well publicised by the club after several meeting with Maja is that he wants to stay. I believe that to be the case but its being aggravated by the Agent.

This is what I thought when someone mentioned ‘7 times his current deal’ likelihood is he was on 1500 maximum which doesn’t make it a massive offer.

Fair play to him, it’s a shame for us but can understand it.

Personally I hope he goes abroad - Bundesliga maybe - and gets some good development.

I thought the general consensus was that we get absolutely fucked over financially if he goes abroad? Does anyone have details on that? I'm sure I've read that the tribunal fee is only if he stays here, and that its next to nowt if he goes abroad. If that's the case then fuck his development, I hope he stays in England

Aye true, was thinking of it more from his standpoint.

We won’t get much either way really.

What you’ve said is correct, stay in uk and we at worst get a tribunal fee go abroad and we get a minimal fixed amount which is well below £100k

Based on fact that tribunal fees of c£250k each were set for whitehead Lawrence and Elliott when we signed them what 15 years ago I’d expect we’d get substantially more for Maja now

He’s off. End of IMO, just a matter of when he’ll leave. Donald & Charlie made it clear we won’t have the piss taken out of us anymore, so if his agent is holding out for more money out of us he’ll be waiting a hell of a time...

his agent isnt holding out for more omney from us...the money is sorted..his agent is hoping a higher division team come in for hjim.

i suspect the agent filled maja's head with talk of Man City and Spurs..
and the offers on the table are worse than that..much worse..so the agent is playing for time..

His agent is wanting him to run his contract down. That’s his pay day as there’ll be a whacking great sign on.

I can see him staying until the end of the season.
If we get promoted, which hopefully we will, I'd like to think he'd stay.
If we were to be promoted and he went then I think he's risking time on the bench.
