I can't really see how a move to a championship club would benefit him, when if he continues scoring for us he will most likely be there next season. Boro are fifth in the Championship and obviously have the opportunity of promotion to Premiership, but it's far from guaranteed. If an offer from a Premier League club came in then while I still think it would be a silly move, it'd be hard for both player and club to turn down. If an offer comes from say Spurs, hopefully they'd just loan him back anyway as he wouldn't be getting a game.

Who has said they're happy for him to go?

I think the "majority" have ben saying that whilst we'd like to keep him if he wants away then we need to maximise our return and plan for the future.

Nope, I never said anything about singling him out.
What I implied was that you do not have to get behind a player who's not performing. If we play like crap, and Maja is crap, then I do not see why he shouldn't get booed, just as the whole team would.
Imagine being down by two goals, he's put in a shit shift and getting substituted after an hour, don't you think the fans would give him hell?

So agent and player get what they asked for. Maia tells Ross h is going to sign. Agent goes to sky and says he isn't and in your opinion the club look,like muppets.

I’m assuming it’s his agent that’s choosing this for him. I can’t see why he wants to fuck off at all. At his age and where we’re at we’d seem to be a perfect fit. He could naturally move up the leagues. We’re like being on loan for him as a youngster.

If I heard, a deal was done for him to go to germany, then I am pretty sure SD will have heard the same. So prudent to suspect he may not sign.
If that is the case (which we now know is the case) we need to do something about it or at least be prepared to make a decision on the correct path for the club to take.

Yes. I don’t want him to go. I think he’s a good player and one of the few that can make the step up if were promoted.

Yes. It’s not the clubs fault at all. His agent is taking the piss.
 
Don’t believe a good reception will necessarily get the contract signed, however a bad one and he’ll have an “excuse” not too. It’d be hard to come back from.

Lets just get behind the whole team, including Maja if he plays.
