CorrectSo the club no longer own the ground, as well as not owning the land it’s on?
Slippery slerpI dont think this is PSR. That changes soon. This is exit strategy.
PIF now own two unique entities. The club and the stadium.
They can sell them independently. If they flog NUFC they can demand rent from new owners. Plus it means they can separate income from events/concerts from the loss making football side of the business
If new (football side) owners decide they want a new ground, PIF have the lease to prime real estate and partners in the Reubens who develop exactly that.
PIF cant lose.
This is not a good deal for football fans.

An "Easy 6 points" 2025/26 DVDIs there anything they won't sell?
I’ve just had my shopping delivered by Tesco so I’ve paid for it and now I’m selling it to myself so I can go out on the piss.. quids in.Weren’t rules around this stuff meant to be tightened after the shit Chelsea pulled?. I mean everyone knows they’ve sold the stadium to another pif company so in reality gifted themselves £172m cash injection. How is that still allowed to go on? If anyone sells anything to a company that they also own it should automatically fail any test. Or have the premier league learnt nothing from city and Chelsea running rings around them for the past twenty years.
And stadiumSold there souls
What could possibly go wrong. So the club no longer own the ground, as well as not owning the land it’s on?
Agreed in principle. It’s a f***ing great deal for us though..I dont think this is PSR. That changes soon. This is exit strategy.
