Haway Tadge - giz a clue? Rapey? Did you mean ropey? - even then just saying when I pass through Consett on the way to Blanchland it's all bordering Northumberland. So it gets canny rapey the further towards Durham you get?
Plenty of lads I went to school with in Durham were Mags. The worst type anarl, awful banter and constant digs.. how they went to black and white colours is beyond me
?says the goth
Was talking with Erin Mcleod yeserday, she's the goalie for the Canadian women's team in next year's world Cup which is being held over here. Anyhow I said the team's coach John Herdman will no doubt be up early on Sunday to watch the derby. She said Oh yes he is a big Newcastle supporter.
What the hell is up with that. The bloke was born in Consett. What has happened to Country Durham.
Went to school with his sister and Herdy was in the year below, was in the same year as @General Zod IIRC, (might be the same class?). Whole family are Mags.
Consett was a split town when I was at school, and as has been said, '92 happened.

We've been in touch and he said it was all red n white last time. There's about 20 of us looking for somewhere to watch and at the minute that's our chosen venue.
Which is why the vermin have always had larger crowds....most people support their closest team, Newcastle have 2 or 3 times people living close to them than Sunderland do.Surely it's not rocket science why there are more Mags in Consett
It's 14 miles to St James' Park & 23 to Stadium of Light.
Get the beers in then.Just nipped in and asked if the match is on, said aye if ya support sunland, said it will be all sunland and he knows quite a few that's going, seems like that's the pub to go if ya local like
Pint for me aswellGet the beers in then.![]()

tidiedIt is probably 60/40 them, but you do notice them a lot more because they feel the need to the same wear replica kit every day of the week when out and about the place, unlike us Consett Safc lads

What would it be like watching the derby at the Demi?
