Mags Giving Away Tickets

Excuse my ignorance, but for the champions league games do ST holders not just buy their own seats , leaving a few thousand for general sale ? General sale being restricted to those fans with purchase history?

It would be very easy for NUFC to ensure 99% of tickets go to genuine fans for a fair price. Very easy indeed
In theory it should be. In theory it should be for all clubs. Begs the question as to how / why so many Premier League tickets appear on resale sites at huge mark-up. It would be very easy for concert promotors to keep tickets off the likes of Viagogo, Michael & Emily Eavis do just that, yet they appear in their 100’s immediately after the Sold Out signs go up.
A tout, who has previously bought a ticket has a purchase history, does he not?
It’s a big problem. Look at the vast number of accounts Arsenal & Chelsea cancel for just this issue. This isn’t an isolated Newcastle issue, brought upon them as a result of having shitbag owners. It is a problem that affects most clubs.
Are you sure? Everything is pointing to KLD extending the SoL should we be in the position where we sell out regularly and establish ourselves.

SAFC have a real opportunity of becoming THE north east team, who actually represent our region and not just a sports washing project.

See also the fact we have given 85 and over free season cards
In fairness, as Newcastle are what they are, you already are THE north east club, when applying that criteria.

with all due respect, and i say this because you are a good poster (for a mag) but this thread is about your lot, not other clubs or glastonbury. shifting the narrative is just deflection.

You won’t get to a point where supply & demand is such that touts can make a profit from buying up tickets?
Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal all have issues. None begged for a change in owner. If there is money to be made the touts will arrive.

I would rather follow a shit Newcastle in second division and/or struggling in Premier League. In fact I did, and don’t now.
It was set up by the club man. Nowt to do with touts.

The plot thickens. There has to be a reason why this particular school has acquired so many tickets. There'll definitely be a link between someone on their board of directors and someone employed high up in the filth.

You could have nailed it with Jack Ross being the filth component.

Edit: It seems ANOTHER school in Dundee has acquired tickets! Our old friend Jack Ross looking more palpable.

Maybe the Saudis have decided to build their new stadium in Dundee?!?

Didn't the likes of those schoolchildren fill some of the ground when the supporters felt they could no longer attend games due to the previous owner using zero hour contracts?

Now they want them to piss off?

45 x £ 295 is £ 13,275.

If you think a coach from Dundee and 20 odd rooms with evening meal and breakfast costs that much god knows how much you spend on a holiday.

Even if the rooms were 200 quid and they need 25 thats £5k, how much does a coach cost????????

Still it gives some posters a boner
Similar pricing as ALS buses 😱

This is where the confusion set in. One of the heid loppers overheard Jack Ross speaking about the "Arabs" up in Dundee and told his people "Send tickets to the best school in this Dundee place for the children of our brother Arabs to attend a game. Quickly now, imshi!"
Imshi was RAF speak for go away to the Arabs when my FiL was in Aden!

i'm not talking about all clubs, the thread is about your club and this particular issue. theres no way this will be isolated either, they've just been caught out.

it just goes to show the hypocracy (or stupidity) of the vast majority of your fan base, as you cheered on the Saudi bloke walking around the pitch at wembley with your trophy, bowing down to him, kissing his arse, thanking him for 'saving' your club. if he walked through newcastle town center today he'd be mobbed by people wanting to lick his boots. all the while he is treating the normal fans of NUFC like shit.

its just an observation.

So now we’ve got ‘worraboot’ stuff that hasn’t happened yet?
It has happened. It is happening at pretty much every club that sells out.
It was set up by the club man. Nowt to do with touts.
This instance was. You are correct. However 45 tickets to a school isn’t the only reason tickets are not available, nor why they are available on resale sites.

There is no doubt, imo, that if one institution are getting this deal then others are also. Getting kids to games who otherwise would miss out is a good initiative. I doubt 45 private school kids from Dundee is the right target audience though.
