In theory it should be. In theory it should be for all clubs. Begs the question as to how / why so many Premier League tickets appear on resale sites at huge mark-up. It would be very easy for concert promotors to keep tickets off the likes of Viagogo, Michael & Emily Eavis do just that, yet they appear in their 100’s immediately after the Sold Out signs go up.Excuse my ignorance, but for the champions league games do ST holders not just buy their own seats , leaving a few thousand for general sale ? General sale being restricted to those fans with purchase history?
It would be very easy for NUFC to ensure 99% of tickets go to genuine fans for a fair price. Very easy indeed
A tout, who has previously bought a ticket has a purchase history, does he not?
It’s a big problem. Look at the vast number of accounts Arsenal & Chelsea cancel for just this issue. This isn’t an isolated Newcastle issue, brought upon them as a result of having shitbag owners. It is a problem that affects most clubs.
In fairness, as Newcastle are what they are, you already are THE north east club, when applying that criteria. Are you sure? Everything is pointing to KLD extending the SoL should we be in the position where we sell out regularly and establish ourselves.
SAFC have a real opportunity of becoming THE north east team, who actually represent our region and not just a sports washing project.
See also the fact we have given 85 and over free season cards
