Judging by the 5-6 Championship games I've watched this season, the standard is generally pretty bad. It's relative of course but it's really no surprise to me that Newcastle have come straight back up. They're an attractive proposition for the league's best player and have spent wisely: i.e. On players who can put the ball in the back of the net. That's what we'll need to spend on most because the likes of Borini can't hit a barn door.
We will have that luxury when we go down. Players will want to join us, no doubt. It's important we sell for good money. Don't let the likes of Pickford for peanuts and we should have enough cash to spend on good players. People say the league has changed, of course it has, but we'll still be able to attract the best from that pool of players.

He isn't. He couldn't beat any of thr bottom 3 last season. Came when you had 30 points to play for and finished the season with you in the bottom 3, when you were outside the relegation places before he came iirc.
