Back where they belong, apparently.

Yeah. Mid table mediocrity. Football's answer to purgatory. That place between the hell of relegation and the heaven of glory. Where you do nothing. They will love staying up for the next 2-3 years but after that? They will want something more..something better. And if and when they don't get it? They are too good to go down but aren't good enough to do anything better. Who is going to get the heat? Who do you think? The Patron Saint of Mags himself - Rafa Benitez.

I work in Gateshead and there was one of them waiting for me this morning to tell me the delightful news! funny thing is i've been here six months and didnt know until this morning they were mags.

Straight out of the woodwork!

Yeah and we've not had a chance to since

Just saying it's been proven we ourselves can do it
Goood players in the Championship are moving for around the 10 million mark now. There's also a big foreign influence through more players and coaching. That's why I think we should be looking across Europe for young up and coming coach. The problem is we don't have the football acumen in the boardroom to do that.

Think I'll give Look North Korea a miss tonight as the smell of kippers and cringeworthiness will be overpowering !! Even BBC this morning had to mention over 50k and how they need to buy big or the fat waiter might be gone. This wasn't mentioned for Brighton about what they had to do to keep Hughton.

Did they get promoted?
Must have missed that one. It's not been mentioned on any media for at least 5 minutes. FFS.

'Back where they belong'

No one belongs or deserves to be in the PL, even Man Ure, you have to earn the right.
They did however 'deserve' to get relegated as they were one of the 3 worst teams end of last season.
Like us this season.

...has begun already.

BBC Breakfast News hardly able to contain themselves:evil:

One advantage of being down here is not be surrounded by the mag kernts giving it the big one...although you're bound to see more of their shirts worn now.
I honestly thought Jerry Jackson last night and Colin Briggs this morning were going to masturbate on air. Do these fckers not know at least half the people they serve couldnt give a monkey's chuff about the mags.

Biased
Bstard
Cnts

Anyway I thought Man U were their rivals not Brighton, Reading or Huddersfield.

I listened for a bit and it didn't take Quinn long to mention "top 4"
I'd imagine he called Rafa "World Class", mentioned the passion of the fans, massive club, deserve success, probably mentioned his time up there and how much he loves the fans and the area, whilst having a dig at Sunderland and making various curry-favouring comments about Newcastle next season? Is that about right?

Why watch it then? Haven't heard anything about it at all tbh. Didn't watch the game last night and extended my congratulations to them before the game. Will be interesting watching their games as a neutral to see if they can bridge the gap. I'm all for them having another stab tbf, we've had 10 go's and failed each time. Said before, no N.E team will ever manage 3 consecutive seasons in the PL again, good luck to them although I suspect they'll be back down with us soon enough
How can you congratulate them before the game, they weren't up then. Very strange.
