Mag on the Pitch

saw a blerk snot a hoss at highbury years ago,a tale laughed at over a few beers on multiple occasions since!

the story aboot a mackem strangling a mars bar on his own seat does'nt get the same "do you remember when" recognition :lol:

Notice how our lad is sitting down to have a piss, being careful not to expose himself, even when chemist and busting. Whereas there was mag who seemed to have deliberately cut a hole in his jogging bottoms to allow his chomp to peep out. Classier.
Give it up man ffs!!
A classy reaction to this cross bar challenge 'incident' is to have a laugh about it like the vast majority. And you've backed yourself into such a corner you're now extolling the virtues of a lad pissing himself as proof that we're classier.

I know, its why he sat down to cover himself.

You mean the incident where the police were forced to admit they made it up? That one that never gets a mentioned?
I can find plenty about the incident but nothing about the police admitting they were wrong.
Speaking of classy
Police with shields, helmets and dogs in Sunderland as violence broke out ahead of the Sunderland v Celtic fixture. One Celtic fan suffered serious injuries in a clash two miles from the stadium,
We can all go trolling Google for embarrassing things about each others club so why not give up and go back to the old stalwarts, greggs, gravy etc etc

The police admitted that no dogs required visits to the vets or were injured, despite quickly releasing a story saying that was the case to shift public opinion from the off. They have form for it mind so no surprise there.

Away fans going out of the way to smash a shop up, who then get pasted by the locals isnt a bad reflection on the locals.

I think we both know which set of fans embarrass themselves the most marra, lets not be silly.

Then boo him after he hits the bar 5 times??? :D

Couldnt do it six times though

tying himself in nots the poor lad .

Indeed. Sad to see tbh.

Go on as much as you like. The images of all those empty seats at the SOL at a time when the club desperately needs investment is the most embarrassing thing of all. Have a nice day, I have VAT to do

Having reflected on the incident over the last couple of days I have remained attached to my original opinion that someone should have took him out at the knee, for giggles n that of course.

source? Pretty much everyone pleaded guilty

Regarding the dogs being injured and needing to visit vets? It was exposed as being bollocks and no such thing happened (minor point but was in response to someone saying we kick dogs to fuck cos his dummy flew out about a horse getting chinned).

Mags at work rejoicing in this incident as if it's some kind of huge victory

As close as it gets to a win at our place I suppose.

Edit: Nah, they did just beat our U23s on pens :(

Actually spoke to the mag in question this morning. I knew nothing about yesterday’s crossbar challenge and he just started making conversation with me as our kids were competing in a gymnastics competition in Durham. He said it was just banter and the Sunderland fans were excellent towards him after he hit the crossbar. Also said rivalries aside he didn’t like to see Sunderland in such a sorry state. Seemed like a good lad to be honest.
Was talking to someone who knows him. The mag lives in Sunderland and won a million quid on a scratch card last year.
