Mag on the Pitch

Why would you deem yourself to possess any insight or opinion on the do's and don'ts of half time entertainment when you've never been to a football match?

You choose instead to spend all your evenings and weekends on a rivals message board.

Your opinions on football, sadly, are completely irrelevant

Why on earth do you think I dont go and have never been?

Jesus. I've just seen the 'incident' in question. He's having a laugh ffs after hitting the bar. From the reaction of the crowd normal people seem to be enjoying it too. Anyone frothing at the mouth at this seriously needs a life.

I know the lads who did the Crossbar challenge at half time did a fantastic thing for young Bradley by raising the money they did, I won’t ever take that away from them as it’s a great cause and something close to the heart of every sunderland fan.

However to allow the Mag to run around the pitch like he did was just embarrassing man, how the club let it happen just sums it all up really for me, the whole half time crossbar challenge yesterday just felt like a farce.

Who cares man? The club is about to go under, the dull Mags won't have us as rivals before long so they need to get the gloating in before Gateshead and shields are their rivals.
Oh yes f@ck em all too.

Absolutely this. Its a cracking example of the difference between the two sets of supporters too.

Give owa.
At Newcastle it was a very well dignified handing over of a reef. A fantastic effort by all involved.
This cross bar challenge was a fully intended bit of light hearted fun.

To even begin to look and take some morale high ground here is tragic.

Agreed. The fact that the mags are claiming this as some sort of piss take shows them as to what they are.
Before any mags say owt, I'm from Gateshead, been out this afternoon and 2 mags have both tried to take the piss over it

Give owa.

Just been out with a Newcastle fan and the conversation went.....
Mag - See what happened at the stadium of shite yesterday at half Time?
Me - yea, What do you mean?
Mag - they picked someone form the crowd, who was a Geordie he came on hit the cross bar from the half way line then celebrated like shearer.
Me - do you know why he was there?
Mag - no. But he took the piss.
There is the difference between the fans mate.
