Long way to go Brandon, and still lots of scoreboard pressure, and a pitch that will gradually get worn

Bizarrely, we might've have been better off scoring fewer runs giving Yorkshire a sniff of a win. still strong favourites though.

Oh aye, true. I'm certainly hoping it starts to turn and also keep a bit low. Hopefully the sea fret in the morning might just enable us to nip a couple of quick ones out too.

If we were to have them 220-5 by noon, it's a long way to go for them to save the game.

Haway!

Yorkie boys will all be on the piss in Boleyn's ! While ours are tucked up in bed

We'll know by 12.00 tomorrow. There's been early wickets both days so far and if we can nick some out early we have every chance.

Couple of early wickets today and we are in with a chance of the win. Personally think it will be a draw but you never know.

He bowled later on in the day so seems fine.

Have to say that's two days to us. Need to get the better of tomorrow too though. The objective has to be 7 wickets by Tea. If we can do that we'll probably have stopped them getting the follow-on total but we have to then bat again, score quick runs and set up a target. The way the pitch seems to have played I'd say we have to be bowling (fourth innings) by the fourth morning. Unless we skittle them quickly tomorrow I can't see how making them follow-on would help us due to how difficult taking wickets seems. That said, anything short of 400 is probably quite achievable on that surface too, so we need to get a move on either way if setting them a target.

Unfortunately I see the draw being the most likely outcome

I would not be comfortable with setting them a target. If they don't get to the follow on then we should put them back in. We don't want to lose twice to them having dominated most of both games. We need 17 wickets in 2 days and I think we can do it.

More hard work in store for our bowlers today. Just hope the pitch breaks up on day 4 when Yorks bat last but I can't see it happening.
