par score at Durham in first innings is around 270, chuck in a bit of rain to spice the wicket up and not much wrong with Druhams first innings score although maybe 20 or 30 short from what we could have got

I am hoping for us to be batting again before tea with a healthy first innings lead of 60 to 70 now.

250 is a decent score, it's why we rarely have a batter that averages over 45 and have a clutch of bowlers averaging under 30.

I never take too much notice of our bowling or Somerset's batting averages.

I dont take much notice of Saj bowling average either anymore 148 but concentrate on his batting average of 30
