*~*~* Luton v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

A lot coming down their left. Know he's not a winger but I'd rather have Browne out there for a bit solidity and Rigg tucked into right centre mid (if he's not going to bring Roberts on that is). Fortunate to be 0-0 on balance of play but hope we pick it up second half as they've put a lot into it first 45.

Scandalous performance by the ref there for me. It's pretty much as biased as I've ever seen!

Luton are fouling constantly and barging people of the ball. It's not clever fouling, it's f***ing obvious and he's letting everything go!

Blatant hand ball ignored. Blatant goal kick when we were under pressure from corners given as a corner.

Patto kicked from behind when he's clearing the ball, no booking!

That lads are doing well to be still in the game given that they are getting bullied and getting fuck all off the ref.

We haven’t defended well. We’ve frequently given it away in our own third as players have shat themselves every time they’ve been closed down. They’ve hit the bar twice and had one chalked off incorrectly IMO
They've had 1 shot on target. We've stopped them from having more. I'm not saying we've played well all over the pitch but we've done alright in defence. Till it comes to playing it out.

Change in shape maybe? Don't really have too much on the bench that will be able to affect this game though. Maybe Conolloy and Isidor as two up front, add another body into midfield? I don't know what else we can do really except move the ball better in possession and toughen up.

Is it just me, or is the pitch way smaller than the SoL? Don't have room to breathe.
Could really have done with Ballard here to go 5 at the back or push onien into midfield. Would give us options at least. Not a huge amount we can actually change looking at the bench we’ve got
