*~*~* Luton v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Linesman giving offside for player in front of Patto as blocking his movement so therefore is in play and offside.
If the lad in front of Patt had moved away then goal would have stood. Well played Linesman.
A bit like Man City goal which was allowed as Silva moved away from Keeper on second phase of move before Stones headed it.
Luton player obstructed Patto when Morrison hit the ball.
Thats how I see it.
Same. He was well offside and clearly interfering with play, easy decision for the linesman. Just thankful it wasn’t the referee

Thinking about the bombardment we’ve been under it’s so similar to the first half of that play off game. Luton certainly have a good idea of our weaknesses.

Were defending pretty well and we'll get another chance, But we need to cut off some of these crosses at source. Its mainly their defenders that are putting in those diagonal mixers. We have to have forward/wide men working a bit harder 2nd half

Going to be interesting to see how Le Bris reacts to this. Bruising team playing thugball, mostly in the air but with no real output despite all that possession. It wouldn't take much of a step up to win this.

all these corners and set pieces, defending them well at moment ( in the main ) can't help feeling one will stick. Need to take game to them more, Rigg off and Roberts on, stretch game and give them something to think about.
