*~*~* Luton v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

The player who impeded patto was a country mile offside and was clearly involved in the build up. Morris was onside but definitely offside and correct decision.

Not really sure what we can do to change things here.

We’re more than good enough to keep the ball and play through them but we haven’t really tried often enough.

Going to be interesting to see how Le Bris reacts to this. Bruising team playing thugball, mostly in the air but with no real output despite all that possession. It wouldn't take much of a step up to win this.
Wonder how often he came up against orcs like this in France.

Change in shape maybe? Don't really have too much on the bench that will be able to affect this game though. Maybe Conolloy and Isidor as two up front, add another body into midfield? I don't know what else we can do really except move the ball better in possession and toughen up.

Is it just me, or is the pitch way smaller than the SoL? Don't have room to breathe.

They’ve looked like a team with thirteen players at times. They’ve also resembled a boxer who has put everything into achieving an early knock down. We’re still in it, but we have to hold the ball better in midfield.

Rigg on a yellow, wouldn’t risk him central. Give the lad a breather ahead of starting on Saturday.

Either Roberts for Rigg
Or Connolly for Rigg with Isador out wide
We have to get Roberts on to get a hold of the ball,it's coming back way too quickly, good shout with your suggestion marra .
